IT'S NOT OVER
As this month comes to a close, it’s easy to feel the weight of what hasn’t happened yet- prayers still waiting for answers, goals still halfway done, dreams still unfolding. The rush to “make it happen” can quietly creep in, pushing us into hurry instead of harmony with God’s timing. But the Spirit gently reminds us: “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) Hope and hurry cannot dwell in the same heart. Hurry is rooted in fear; fear that time is running out, that we’ve missed our moment, that God has forgotten. But hope rests in faith-faith that God is still writing, still weaving, still working even when we can’t see the full picture. When we choose hope, we choose to anchor our hearts in God’s promises rather than our own pace. We learn to move at the rhythm of grace, not striving, not proving, but trusting.
