IT'S NOT OVER

As this month comes to a close, it’s easy to feel the weight of what hasn’t happened yet- prayers still waiting for answers, goals still halfway done, dreams still unfolding. The rush to “make it happen” can quietly creep in, pushing us into hurry instead of harmony with God’s timing.

But the Spirit gently reminds us: “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Hope and hurry cannot dwell in the same heart. Hurry is rooted in fear; fear that time is running out, that we’ve missed our moment, that God has forgotten. But hope rests in faith-faith that God is still writing, still weaving, still working even when we can’t see the full picture.

When we choose hope, we choose to anchor our hearts in God’s promises rather than our own pace.
We learn to move at the rhythm of grace, not striving, not proving, but trusting.

Maybe this month didn’t unfold as you planned, but it unfolded exactly as God allowed. And that means it still carried purpose.

So as you close this month, say no to anxiety.
Return to your center-to the One who steadies you.
Lay down the rush, and pick up rest.
Choose hope, because God is not done with your story.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…” Isaiah 40:31

Let this be your prayer:
Lord, teach me to wait with hope, not haste. Ground me again in Your peace, and remind me that Your timing is always perfect.

We are witnessing a season where old posts are resurfacing, and careers are shaking. Appointments are being reconsidered. Partnerships are being withdrawn. Public trust is being questioned. After watching the movie "Waiting Wars" by Gloria Bamiloye, you find tthat there is the faith that makes noise and there is the faith that remains when the noise fades. The kind that survives unanswered questions. The kind that keeps showing up long after the excitement has worn off. The kind that does not collapse when feelings fluctuate.
