YOUR DECEMBER STRATEGY (2)
Here are some things to keep in mind as you strategize for a strong finish in December.
1. Ask Yourself the Right Questions
- What is actually necessary?
-
What can wait?
-
What can you let go of completely?
2. Define What a Win Looks Like (For You)
Your December shouldn’t be defined by the pressure of “doing everything before the year ends.” Instead, choose three things that would make this month meaningful.
Think in categories:
-
A personal win
-
A relational win
-
A spiritual growth win
When you decide your wins early, you silence unnecessary pressure.
3. One Thing to Complete, One Thing to Continue, One Thing to Begin
A simple but powerful December framework:
Complete: The thing you’ve been postponing but would give you peace if you finish it this year.
Continue: The habit or commitment that has been working-don’t break momentum.
Begin: Start something that 2026 will thank you for.
These three actions create continuity and forward motion.
4. Build in Joy-On Purpose
Joy doesn’t fall out of the sky; you have to create space for it.
Your December strategy must include:
-
A habit that brings you joy.
-
A moment that fills you with gratitude.
-
An activity that connects you with the people who matter in your life.
Joy is strength. Joy is clarity. Joy is fuel.
5. Protect Your Peace Like It’s Currency
Because it is.
December is a month of many invitations-(social, financial, and emotional).
Before you say yes, ask yourself:
-
Does this align with my capacity?
-
Does this support my growth?
-
Does this drain or strengthen me?
6. Set Your Spirit for the New Year
You don’t need a full 2026 plan in December. You just need alignment.
Ask yourself:
-
What is God nudging me toward?
-
What is He asking me to trust Him for?
-
What theme keeps appearing in my heart?
7. Close the Year with Gratitude, Not Grumbling
Gratitude doesn’t deny the challenges of the year; it positions your heart for strength.
Write down:
-
Three things you learned
-
Three blessings you received
-
Three areas you grew
You end the year healed and hopeful.
December is not just the end, it is the bridge.
Walk across it with focus, grace, and confidence.
