FEED YOUR FAITH, STARVE YOUR FEAR

Every day, you and I are feeding something. Either we are feeding faith with God’s word, or we’re feeding fear with worry, assumptions, and endless “what ifs.” One will flourish, the other will shrink. The choice of what grows is ours.

Fear grows when you feed it.
Fear thrives on overthinking, negative headlines, comparison, doubt, isolation, and memories of past failures.

Fear has an appetite, and the more you indulge it, the more it demands. It convinces you to expect the worst, to hold back, to shrink when God is calling you higher. Fear doesn't need permission; it just needs attention.

However, scripture reminds us, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.

Faith grows when you feed it.
Faith is strengthened by: God’s Word (faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17), worship, prayer, fellowship, testimonies, gratitude, and obedience (even when you're shaking).
When you feed your spirit with truth, hope rises. Confidence returns. Clarity sharpens. You begin to see situations the way heaven sees them-not as impossible mountains, but as opportunities for God to reveal Himself.
Feeding your faith is an intentional practice because faith doesn’t grow by accident. It grows by choice, by repetition, by discipline.

Just like you choose nourishing meals to strengthen your body, you choose spiritual nourishment to strengthen your heart.
Faith is like a fire; if you don’t keep adding fuel, it goes out. Fear is like a weed; if you don’t uproot it, it spreads.
Fear has always been a thief. It entered Eden through a lie. It enters our hearts the same way, through thoughts that contradict God’s truth. This is why Scripture urges us:

“Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5

Fear grows where truth is absent. And truth grows where the Word is present.

Today, choose what you will nourish.
