GO BEYOND

Hello There and welcome. It's motivational Monday. Here is a little spring for your day and the new week.

A man meets a guru on the road. The man asks the guru, "Which way is success?" The bearded sage speaks not but points off to a distant place. The man, thrilled by the prospects of quick and easy success, rushes off in the appropriate direction. 
Suddenly there comes a loud "splat!!!" Eventually, the man limps back, tattered and stunned, assuming he must have misinterpreted the message. He repeats his question to the guru, who again, points silently in the same direction. The man obediently walks off once more. This time, the splat is deafening, and when the man crawls back, he is bloody, broken, tattered, and irate. "I asked you which way is success," he screams at the guru. "I followed the direction you indicated. And all I got was splatted! No more of this pointing! Talk!" Only then does the guru speak, and he says, "Success is that way. Just a little after the splat."

Imagine that life is a marathon where a big hill is facing us, right at the starting line.

Many of us are intimidated by such a rough beginning, and we refuse to start the race. Yet those of us who quit at the beginning will never know the truth. And that is that the only unreasonable hill is the one at the beginning; the rest are but small bumps along the way.

Everything in life is hard before it becomes easy. Yet life will always remain hard if we don't proceed beyond the rough beginnings.
